Students are back on our campuses and we have kicked off the semester with several Welcome Week activities! At SDSU we hosted a Welcome Back Brunch with more than 40 students reconnecting over bagels, enjoyed our first Shabbat of the semester at full capacity with a vision boarding activity after dinner and engaged our juniors and seniors with a Jew & Brews 21+ event.  Our famous BBQ had over 150 students in attendance!

At UC San Diego we had a fabulous BBQ in the Potiker House backyard, and we brought “Bageling” back to campus – weekly meetups with free bagels. At USD, Hillel was part of The Alcalá Bazaar which takes place at the start of each semester and provides a space for students to discover the many opportunities for involvement that are available.

It was a week with absolutely incredible conversations, energy and new connections between the students and Hillel professionals.
