Students at each of our four campuses have the opportunity to take part in the Jewish Learning Fellowship program, which is a 10-week conversational seminar for students to dive into Judaism and understand the religion in their own way.
In honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, SDSU Hillel partnered with the Jewish Federation of San Diego County to host six local Holocaust survivors for a unique intergenerational encounter with Jewish college students to bake challah together and share stories.
As the Jewish Federation’ OPTIONS 2020 event opened, eight Jewish women from local colleges and four women on Hillel’s professional team joined with 600 other Jewish women in the community for an evening celebrating Jewish womanhood and San Diego’s lively Jewish community.
Students are back on our campuses and we have kicked off the semester with several Welcome Week activities!
The Jewish Community Leaders project at SDSU and Triton Jewish Leaders project at UC San Diego are Hillel’s premier student leadership development programs.
Even though students would be on break during Hanukkah, we couldn’t resist transforming our last campus Shabbat programs of the semester into one huge Hanukkah party!
