(646) 281-6242
- Date Posted

We are looking for an energetic and loving student/teacher to come to our synagogue in Carlsbad twice a month and to be an assistant or substitute for Rabbi Gabi when she is sick or away. We’d like someone who can do the more creative arts with the kids such as art, music, role playing, etc. and who can bring the beauty of Judaism to life.
Our program consists of grades k-5 so all programming needs to be accessible to all those grades. We also have parents and grandparents and they can be integrated into the lessons in whatever way you see fit even if it’s just aiding their kids.
We are rooted in the traditions of Judaism while always seeing the different meanings and perspectives. We don’t like to teach the kids in absolutes. We like them to question and come up with their own perspectives. Pay is $100 per session which normally runs for an hour on Wednesdays starting at 4:30.
If you are interested or have any questions please reach out to Rabbi Gabi at (646) 281-6242.
