I want you to meet Leah.

“My older sister was involved in Hillel in college, so I knew about it before I got to SDSU. The first Shabbat I attended was an Israeli Shabbat.”

Student story number three is here! When you make your gift to Hillel of San Diego before midnight on December 31st, you uplift and empower Jewish students to lead and grow THEIR Jewish campus community. Please act fast! Your support will have double the impact for San Diego’s Jewish college students!

Welcome to Day 2 of Hillel’s Presidents’ Challenge student stories. Each story features a student who found community, connections, and their path to becoming a leader through Hillel of San Diego. This impact is only possible through the generosity of Hillel parents, alumni, and community members – people like you!

Shavua Tov! Over the next four days, we will conclude our 2024 Presidents’ Challenge by sharing five Hillel student stories. Each student’s life has been changed, and their leadership skills have been nurtured because of the generosity of Hillel of San Diego parents, alumni, and community members- people like you!

As a long time incredibly generous supporter, we wanted to share with you our Presidents’ Challenge so you can see how your investment in Hillel leadership makes a difference. Thank you for your continued generosity as we support Jewish students at such a critical time.

The Presidents’ Challenge starts TODAY!

Yesterday, we launched our Jewish Networking Hub, which links current Hillel students with Jewish alumni looking to mentor and support the careers of our future leaders.

Now, more than ever, it is critical to prioritize safety and security because that investment matters. It makes a difference, just like it did last Thursday.
